## Summary

Hosts Daniel and Farbod discuss two life-saving technologies: a new fire shelter developed by NC State University using polyamid film and fiberglass insulation to withstand extreme heat, and UMAG Solutions' drones equipped with magnetometers to detect and clear land and sea mines. The episode highlights how materials engineering improved firefighter survival times in burnover scenarios and how drone technology accelerates mine clearance for infrastructure projects like wind farms.
