## Summary

Hosts Daniel Scott Mitchell and Farbod Moghaddam discuss three recent engineering breakthroughs, starting with MIT researchers' 'Magic Carpet' which uses pressure sensors and machine learning to track 3D body positioning with 97% accuracy for privacy-preserving health monitoring. They then cover Texas A&M University's machine learning model that predicts nanoparticle accumulation in produce based on agricultural factors, addressing safety concerns in food science. Finally, they examine Carnegie Mellon University's fabric-friendly sensors using NFC beam-forming to turn household textiles into smart devices capable of localization and gesture detection.
