## Summary

Voja Antonic, the inventor of the Galaksija 8-bit computer, discusses his journey building electronics in Yugoslavia during the 1980s, where import restrictions forced him to create a low-cost, DIY computer using a Z80 microprocessor. He explains how he bypassed component shortages by designing a system that generated video signals in software, leading to a massive grassroots movement of builders who shared games via radio broadcasts. Antonic also details his later work with Microchip PIC microcontrollers, his preference for assembly language to maintain direct hardware control, and his current single-chip retro gaming project for the CCC conference.
