## Summary

Fine Woodworking editors Asa Christiana, Mike Pekovich, and Ed Pirnik discuss the evolution of woodworking styles, debating whether the craft is repeating past movements or finding a new identity through reclaimed materials and handmade authenticity. They evaluate the value of boutique hand tools like Lee Valley and Holty planes versus standard high-end options, and provide practical advice on pricing custom work, selecting the correct wood glue types, and sharpening techniques for hand planes. The episode concludes with the editors sharing specific building blunders, including routing errors and measurement mistakes, and how they repaired them.
