## Summary

Claire Asher interviews experts from academia and industry at the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2026 regarding the integration of 6G connectivity with robotics. Participants from organizations including euRobotics, Huawei, Extent Robotics, and various universities discuss the technical requirements for reliable, low-latency communication in applications ranging from drone swarms to teleoperated surgery. Key challenges identified include the need for robust security, easy deployment, and bridging the siloed standards between telecommunications and robotics communities.
