## Summary

Wyatt Russell and Rich Peete, co-founders of Lake Hour, discuss the creation of their canned cocktail brand, emphasizing a design philosophy that balances nostalgic Americana with modern appeal. They detail the iterative packaging process, including 3,000 design iterations and the decision to use direct-printed aluminum cans from Canworks to achieve a premium look. The founders explain their choice to self-fund the venture to maintain creative control, resulting in a product that integrates specific flavor profiles with visual storytelling featuring illustrations by Stephen Noble and Helms Studio.
