## Summary

Adam Peek, host of The People of Packaging Podcast and TLMI member, reports from the TLMI Annual Meeting at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, highlighting the industry's tight-knit nature. He details key presentations by Alan Beaulieu of ITR Economics on economic policy, the BMO Industrials Group on M&A trends, and Darla Aryans of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws. Peek emphasizes the significance of Colorado's EPR legislation, which includes a consumer advocacy provision to prevent cost pass-through, and notes the return of M&A activity to pre-pandemic levels despite a recent drop in label volume.
