## Summary

Eli Mahal, who leads labels and packaging product management at HP, discusses the launch of the HP Indigo V12 digital press at LabelExpo. He explains HP's strategic shift toward an 'Indigo first' approach, aiming to replace conventional flexographic printing with digital solutions for pressure-sensitive labels and shrink sleeves. Mahal highlights the V12's ability to address labor shortages by simplifying operator training and its focus on high-volume, short-run markets like craft beer and cannabis packaging.
