## Summary

Jordan Fengel, Sustainability Manager at Tetra Pak and Director of Government Affairs for the Carton Council, discusses the sustainability lifecycle of liquid cartons, emphasizing their low carbon footprint due to aseptic technology and renewable materials. He explains how Tetra Pak’s transition to plant-based plastics and the Carton Council’s efforts to expand household recycling access to 75% by 2025 address consumer confusion and infrastructure gaps. The conversation highlights the economic value of carton recycling, the impact of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation, and the importance of consumer education in driving demand for sustainable packaging solutions.
