## Summary

Bryan Cantrill, Adam Leventhal, and MIT Research Scientist Michael Cafarella discuss 2024 predictions, focusing on the transformative impact of Large Language Models (LLMs) on software engineering, search, and organizational management. The group predicts that LLMs will revolutionize search by providing direct answers, drive a resurgence of strongly typed languages like Rust due to their compatibility with AI, and enable 'omniscient management' through the analysis of recorded meetings. They also debate the future of robotics, hardware trends like Apple's Vision Pro, and the potential for AI to reduce human bias in decision-making.
