## Summary

Terry Iverson, President & CEO of Iverson & Company and author of 'Inspiring Champions in Advanced Manufacturing', discusses his mission to bridge the awareness gap between the manufacturing industry and young people. He argues that parents and educators need to shift focus from traditional college degrees to apprenticeships and 'learn and earn' models, citing the European system as a superior model for aligning career paths with individual aptitudes. Iverson highlights the importance of industry engagement through initiatives like Manufacturing Day and school partnerships, noting that while reshoring trends are positive, the workforce pipeline remains a critical challenge.
