## Summary

Jimmy Diresta, Bob Clagett, and David Picciuto discuss the psychological impact of social media on makers, with David Picciuto detailing a failed attempt to make wooden rings due to brittle Wenge wood and his subsequent creation of a welded pet bed for his dog, Weens. The hosts debate the ethics of oversharing online, the addiction to validation, and the importance of maintaining authentic, private relationships outside of public platforms. They also recommend content creators such as Stuff Made Here, Cammie Garage, and David's new podcast, Brain Pick.
