## Summary

Laura Kampf joins hosts Jimmy Diresta, Bob Clagett, and David Picciuto to discuss her recent attendance at a Lincoln Electric welding meetup in Cleveland, where she and other makers participated in plasma cutting and welding classes. The group shares technical takeaways from the event, such as correcting MIG welding habits and the nuances of TIG welding, while David Picciuto and Bob Clagett update the audience on their current woodworking projects: a reclaimed-material vanity and a hybrid map cabinet/shelf unit. The conversation then shifts to a deep dive into nostalgia, with the hosts and guest sharing childhood memories involving toys like He-Man and Star Wars, as well as the emotional weight of keeping or discarding maker-related objects.
