## Summary

Johnny Goode, President and Co-owner of MSP Manufacturing, explains how his background in law enforcement and SWAT shaped his leadership style and drove the company's transition to lights-out automation. He details the strategic shift from high Boeing dependency to diversified aerospace and defense work, leveraging modular workholding, 5-axis machining, and ProShop ERP to achieve 96% on-time delivery. Goode emphasizes that standardizing processes through 5S and base plates was a prerequisite for successful automation, allowing the shop to run 24/5 with minimal human intervention while maintaining quality and employee well-being.
