## Summary

Anthony Protopsaltis, Principal at Velocity IoT, explains how the company uses AI to optimize global IoT connectivity through multi-IMSI profiles and localized packet gateways. He details the importance of pre-deployment planning for resilient infrastructure, citing a real-world example of a security camera company that relies on automatic carrier switching to maintain connectivity in remote areas. Protopsaltis also advises on navigating complex connectivity standards like SGP.32 and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), emphasizing the need for regional data sovereignty and thorough testing to manage customer expectations regarding battery life and connection times.
