## Summary

Nick Earle, CEO of Eseye, discusses the 2024 State of IoT Adoption Report, revealing that less than 2% of IoT deployments achieve 98% connectivity due to firmware complexity and broken roaming economics. He explains Eseye’s solution involves a device-resident switch and the SGP.32 standard to enable global, agnostic connectivity without proprietary SIMs. Earle highlights Amazon’s 'Amazon Key' project and the EWater initiative in Africa as key use cases demonstrating the value of reliable, secure IoT infrastructure.
