## Summary

Ramtin Massoumzadeh, co-founder and CEO of Quandify, explains how the company uses LoRaWAN and non-invasive ultrasonic sensors to solve water metering and leak detection problems in residential and commercial buildings. He details the shift from traditional analog meters requiring plumbers to Quandify’s easy-install sensors, which allow facility managers to monitor usage per apartment without cutting pipes. The discussion covers adoption challenges, including regulatory gray zones around MID certification and infrastructure hurdles like signal strength in metal-heavy buildings, as well as real-world success stories like a camping site pilot that reduced guest water consumption.
