## Summary

Craig Herrett, Group Sales Director at Alliot Technologies, discusses the shift from LoRaWAN to cellular IoT, specifically NB-IoT, for large-scale deployments. He highlights the critical importance of avoiding roaming agreements in connectivity partnerships to ensure device reliability and explains how Alliot mitigated component shortages through strategic supplier agreements. Herrett contrasts enterprise adoption, driven by clear ROI in energy savings, with the slower uptake among SMBs, and details Alliot's Symbius platform for decoding heterogeneous sensor data.
