## Summary

David Ly, CEO and founder of Iveda, discusses the evolution of IoT from early wireless networking and remote video monitoring to modern AI-integrated smart city solutions. He explains how Iveda leverages existing infrastructure, such as streetlights, to deploy sensors that improve traffic flow, public safety, and energy efficiency. Ly also addresses privacy concerns, arguing that AI reduces human error and bias in surveillance by focusing only on abnormal events rather than continuous monitoring of individuals.
