## Summary

Erin McDannald, CEO and Co-Owner of Environments, explains how his background in architectural lighting led to the creation of a metaverse workplace platform that bridges physical and digital spaces. He discusses using IoT technology, such as smart windows and air quality monitoring, to create digital twins that allow remote employees to interact with physical office environments. McDannald emphasizes that successful digital transformation requires addressing psychological resistance and building trust, particularly among older generations who may undervalue digital interactions.
