## Summary

Jacques Bonifay, CEO and Co-Founder of Transatel, explains how the company scaled its IoT connectivity services globally by navigating complex regulatory landscapes and avoiding vendor lock-in with mobile network operators. He details Transatel's evolution from an MVNO enabler to a worldwide IoT MVNO, serving enterprise clients like Jaguar Land Rover, Fiat Chrysler, and Airbus. Bonifay highlights the critical importance of local compliance, particularly GDPR in Europe, and advises IoT manufacturers to use an IoT MVNO to maintain flexibility and control over connectivity costs and provider relationships over the long term.
