## Summary

Jonas Schmid, Co-CEO of Akenza AG, discusses the company's low-code IoT platform designed to reduce the complexity of connecting devices to the cloud for non-IT engineers. He explains how Akenza enables self-service solutions, particularly in the smart building sector, by allowing users to quickly set up connectivity and data flows without extensive coding. Schmid highlights that major adoption barriers are often administrative, such as the lack of corporate credit cards for engineers, rather than technical limitations. He also predicts that 2022 will see significant scaling of IoT solutions globally, driven by standardized connectivity like Helium.
