## Summary

Michael Shoham, CEO and co-founder of Radix, explains why device management has shifted from a nice-to-have to an industry standard for IoT success, particularly for single-purpose Android devices like digital signage and Android TV set-top boxes. He details how Radix’s platform handles the complexities of managing fleets of mission-oriented devices that require remote updates, control, and monitoring, contrasting this with static legacy hardware. Shoham also discusses Radix’s journey from a white-label service provider to a recognized brand, highlighting the challenges of educating the market and gaining trust from major device manufacturers.
