## Summary

Raoul Wijgergangs, CEO of EnOcean, discusses the shift from traditional building automation to 'Smart Spaces,' where tenants use energy-harvesting IoT sensors to monitor desk occupancy, air quality, and employee health. He explains how EnOcean’s batteryless technology integrates with existing Wi-Fi infrastructure, such as Aruba access points, to help companies reduce real estate costs and improve sustainability. Wijgergangs highlights the industry challenge of fragmentation and advocates for alliances like the Z-Wave Alliance and EnOcean Alliance to streamline adoption for end customers.
