## Summary

Mikk Lemberg, Chief Product Officer at 1oT, explains the function and value of connectivity management platforms (CMPs) for IoT businesses. He highlights how 1oT aggregates multiple telecom providers to offer global eSIM management, using micromobility companies like e-scooter operators as a primary use case for scaling across borders. Lemberg discusses the competitive landscape, distinguishing between telecom infrastructure vendors, telecom-owned platforms, and specialized independent providers, while noting the industry shift toward cloud-based solutions and API integrations.
