## Summary

Yadia Colindres, Deputy CTO at UnaBiz, discusses the challenges and strategies of deploying massive IoT solutions, citing their deployment of over 900,000 gas meters in Japan. She explains how UnaBiz’s middleware platform, UniConnect, addresses the complexity of managing heterogeneous device fleets and ensuring data pipeline reliability at scale. The conversation covers critical pain points like ease of installation, component shortages, and the shift toward facility management and indoor air quality monitoring driven by the pandemic.
