## Summary

Lucas Hanson of Cisco and Troy Davis of EnOcean discuss their partnership to enable IoT-enabled location analytics for space utilization using Cisco DNA Spaces and EnOcean’s energy-harvesting sensors. They explain how EnOcean’s self-powered devices communicate natively with Cisco’s Bluetooth-enabled Wi-Fi access points, eliminating the need for additional gateways and reducing infrastructure costs. The guests highlight key use cases in commercial real estate, such as optimizing office space and HVAC usage, while addressing challenges like security integration, total cost of ownership, and the high lifecycle costs associated with battery maintenance.
