## Summary

Nate Clark, founder of Konnected, explains how he transitioned from a software developer to creating a DIY solution for retrofitting old wired alarm systems into smart home security. He details the Konnected Alarm Panel and Konnected Alarm Panel Pro, which allow users to leverage existing wired sensors for reliability and cost savings compared to wireless alternatives like Ring or SimpliSafe. Clark highlights the product's integration with platforms like SmartThings and Home Assistant, its commercial applications in schools and condos, and the growing trend of DIY security as traditional 3G cellular systems face sunset.
