## Summary

Larry Pang, co-founder of IoTeX, explains the company's vision of an 'internet of trusted things' that combines blockchain software with secure hardware to empower users to own and control their IoT devices and data. He details how IoTeX addresses security and transparency issues in traditional IoT by using decentralized identity and end-to-end encryption, citing their flagship product, UCam, developed in partnership with Tenvis. Pang argues that while blockchain sacrifices some real-time speed for unbreakable trust, it is essential for high-value use cases like supply chains and sensitive consumer data, predicting a market shift toward user-centric privacy as awareness grows.
