## Summary

Alexandra Rehak, IoT Practice Lead at Omdia, discusses enterprise IoT adoption trends based on a recent survey conducted with IoT World Today. She highlights that while 5G and AI are major interests, adoption is slower than predicted due to security concerns, a lack of internal expertise, and market fragmentation. Rehak explains that most deployments remain customized and costly, though business models are evolving toward 'as-a-service' and outcome-based contracts, with companies like Signify cited as examples. She also notes that the COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating telemedicine and supply chain visibility while delaying automotive sector investments.
