## Summary

Dan Harper, founder and CEO of Siren Marine, explains how he transitioned from a professional yacht captain to building a connected boat platform that monitors battery health, water intrusion, and security. He details the strategic partnership with IoT solutions provider Leverage (co-founders Eric Kahn and Steve Lee) to develop the hardware, cloud infrastructure, and mobile app. The episode covers the evolution from wired to wireless sensors, the integration of NMEA 2000 data for fleet analytics, and the company's expansion into non-marine industrial monitoring.
