## Summary

Editor-in-Chief Elliot Williams and Al Williams discuss the legacy of Don Lancaster, the paradox of fast hardware and slow software, and the 2023 Hackaday Prize. They review projects including Bradley Gothrop’s talk on personal electric vehicles, Nathan’s solar-powered weed incinerator, and Nighthawk in Light’s DIY radiative sky cooling paint. The episode also covers Rocky Linux’s legal workaround for Red Hat’s source code restrictions and field reports from the SNOTEL snow monitoring network and the Vintage Computer Festival Southwest.
