## Summary

Josef Ernst, CEO of ASMPT, and Dr. Marc Achhammer, COO & CHRO of KATEK Group, discuss how strategic alliances drive operational efficiency in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) sector. They explore the transition from 'smart' to 'intelligent' factories using AI and digital middleware to optimize legacy and new machinery. The conversation highlights the importance of open communication, global service support, and ease-of-use features like virtual assistants to address talent shortages and accelerate operator training.
