## Summary

Jim Warrick of Beacon Technology Partners discusses the findings of the 27th 'Mind of the Engineer' survey, revealing that engineers globally share consistent psychographic traits, such as a desire to feel like a 'little God' when solving problems, and are facing increased pressure from supply chain issues and trade wars. Ian Riches of Strategy Analytics, interviewed by Junko Yoshida, argues that 'TOPS' (trillions of operations per second) is an insufficient benchmark for autonomous vehicle processors, emphasizing that power consumption and cost-effectiveness are critical for production vehicles. The episode also covers the history of Netflix, noting its shift from a DVD rental model to streaming and original content, which alienated traditional content distributors.
