## Summary

Aaron Moncur, host of the Being an Engineer podcast and founder of Pipeline Design & Engineering, explains his motivation for launching the Product Development Expo (PDX). He highlights the lack of a dedicated venue for engineers to access continuing education, test technologies, and network, despite having zero prior experience organizing large events. Moncur positions the expo as an investment in the engineering community's skills and career growth rather than just a personal venture.
