## Summary

Jeff Gothelf, co-author of 'Lean UX' and author of 'Forever Employable', discusses how engineers and professionals can build a 'forever employable' career by creating a personal brand and generating inbound opportunities rather than actively job hunting. He explains that writing books and sharing expertise generously builds the reputation that attracts future work, citing his own journey from software designer to consultant and author. Gothelf also offers tactical advice on writing, content marketing, and measuring success, while touching on the impact of the pandemic on his travel-heavy career.
